Saying Goodbye is the Hardest Part
What to expect
I will meet you in the comfort of your home, wherever you and your pet are most comfortable. Friends, family, and other pets are welcome to say goodbye in whatever way feels best for your family. All questions and concerns will be addressed prior to beginning the process to make sure everyone knows what to expect. When you are ready, your pet will receive a sedative and pain reliever injection to help him/her achieve a relaxed and pain-free state. This will take about 15 minutes to take effect, during which you can continue to spend time with your pet. Once your pet is calm and comfortable a second injection will be given to achieve a peaceful crossing. After your pet has passed you are welcome to spend some private time saying goodbye prior to transport for cremation, if that option is chosen.
