Let's talk SPICES!

Adding spices to your pets food can add nutrients, variety, and have specific therapeutic properties.

Dosing: Fresh herbs 1/4 tsp per 10-20lbs

For dried herbs: 1 shake of the spice container per 10-20 lbs.

Here's some of my favorites

  • Turmeric: Anti-inflammatory, anti cancer, antioxidant, supports brain function, warming

  • Parsley: Contains flavonoids, antioxidants, and vitamins. Antibacterial, especially for the urinary tract.

  •  Curry powder: Antioxidant, Heart health, Nerve health, Brain health

  • Basil: Antioxidant, antiviral, helpful for managing cancer and diabetes

  • Cinnamon: Helps regulate blood sugar, anti-inflammatory, helps improve circulation. Warming

  • Pepper: Can stimulate digestive enzymes to improve absorption of turmeric, flavonoids, Vitamins A and C

  •  Peppermint: Soothes the gut and great for gas, nausea, and motion sickness. Cooling

  • Ginger: Soothes the gut, anti-inflammatory, anticancer. Warming

  • Rosemary: Good source of iron, calcium, and B vitamins. Antioxidant, heart disease, insect repelling properties

  • Fennel: Helpful to heal stomach ulcers, good for oral health, provides Vitamin A and K
